My neighbors also have my daughter’s friends. The children were born in same OBGY at similar times. Their mothers got friendly first, so they naturally have became friends while growing up together. As we parents live in the same city of New Dongtan, we have hung out/have gotten along with each other many times.

Are the underlined correct?

Try:

Their kids are friends with my daughter.

I think you mean they were born in the same maternity ward.

Perhaps:

We have gotten together many times and get along with each other quite well.

Yes, that's what I meant. Can't you also say "OBGY"?

I think it's OGBYN.
