Hi all,

Please explain what is the correct way to say:
In the drugstore/chemists'
or
At the drugstore/chemists'

Thanks in advance

Either is a correct English phrase. It depends what you are trying to say.

I agree with Dave.

We could comment more helpfully, Marie, if you composed a few sentences showing us the context in which you wanted to use these phrases.

I try to say:

1) I have bought it at the chemists(drugstore).

2) She is working in the chemists(drugstore).

Tnx

That's right, Marie.

In BE we say '. . .at the chemist's (shop)'.

The AE drugstore obviates the need to figure out where the apostrophe goes.

(Please take the trouble to type Thanks in full, rather then Tnx.)
