I'm just made aware of the PhD program titled “x” by Doctor Y

I just wrote the following sentence and wondered whether it was natural or not. What I'm saying here is that Doctor Y made me aware of the PhD program titled x.

I am just made aware of the PhD program titled “x” by Doctor Y.

I have just made aware by Dr Y of the 'X' PhD program.

It would be far less clunky as Dr Y has just informed me of the 'X' PhD program.
