English Grammar in Use by Raymond Murphy (second edition).

Unit 54, page 109 (please, have a look at the attahed image):

If you've got a car, you are able to travel round more easily.

Could you tell me whether this is a typo or noe? I'd say travel around.

And by the way, an Oxford dictionary doesn't know such a collocation: https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/travel_1?q=travel

It's OK in BrE.

AmE would however require 'around'.

Oxford does recognize it as a 'verb + adj/prep - see the 2nd example under the first definition.

  • + adv./prep. to travel around the world

As a Brit, I'd prefer around there by quite a way.
