Hello all,

I am bit confused with the "could" and "would" usage here.
Could someone please clear my doubt.
I would like to know which one is correct or sounds natural.

1) If you had closed 10 more deals we would have met our targets.
2) If you had closed 10 more deals we could have met our targets.

I was going through the differences between "would and could" but it seems the same to me as stated in the below link.

Many thanks, I am always grateful to this forum.

Number 1 says the targets would certainly have been met. Number 2 says it would have become possible to meet the targets.
