Choose the correct answer from a b c d
If our heart stops , the death soon......................

A. Follow. B. Follows. C. Will follow. D. Followed.

I would choose ( follows) but the answer is (will follow)What do you think?

I agree with you.

The question is not worded correctly. Does the original include a space before the comma and the word "the" after it?

You could write If our heart stops, death soon follows, but it's not natural.

If you're trying to describe a common/habitual fact, then "When the heart stops, death soon follows" works. My biology isn't great so it might be the case that "When the heart stops, death is instantaneous".

Depending on age and body temperature, people can be revived after anywhere from three minutes to several hours of cardiac arrest. It's very rare to survive more than a couple of minutes though.

So, we can not use (will follow) in such a context, can we?

Bharat, You are welcome join to the forum, but you must state that you are not a teacher, in accordance with the rules.

This thread does not lend itself to the consideration of philosophical or theological aspects of death.
