I have drawn so much on the work of other linguists that few if any of my ideas, except perhaps any mistaken ones, are original with me.

Source: English Prepositions Explained, revised edition, Seth Lindstromberg

I’d like to know if I could rewrite the sentence like this:

I have drawn so much on the work of other linguists that few are original with me if there are any of my ideas, except perhaps any mistaken ones.

And I wonder if the main idea of the original sentence is this:

I have drawn a lot on the work of other linguists. Few ideas are original with me, and perhaps some of them are mistaken.

Would you please paraphrase the sentence for me?

Most of my ideas have come from other linguists. Very few are my own, other than those that are mistaken.
