I need help with this question

* I won't invite him to the party, so he won't come. However, ......... .

a) if I invited him, he would come.
b) if I invite him, he will come.
c) if I had invited him, he would have come.
d) if I don't invite him, he won't come.

I know the answer, but I can't give it to you because the moderators won't like it. Could you give us your own answer first?

I won't invite him to the party, so he won't come.
That makes sense. If you don't invite him he might not even know about the party.

You say you have a question, but what is it?

(If I was still a moderator I would definitely change that title.)

Welcome to the forum, momo2000. :)

Please note that I've changed your thread title. Titles must contain some or all of the words or phrases you're asking about.

Would it be OK to say 'If I were still a moderator I would definitely change that title' in the US?

All four are possible. The 'correct' one is the one that conveys the message you wish to convey.

In this particular case, only one is possible, isn't it?

As I said,
All four are possible. The 'correct' one is the one that conveys the message you wish to convey.
