2. I wish I were rich.
3. I wished I were rich.

I read these three sentences in a grammar website of China.
I can understand the first two sentences, but I can’t understand the third one. I’d like to know if the third sentence makes sense. If so, what does it mean?
 
At some point in the past, you wished you were rich (at the time of speaking).
 
You no longer wish to be rich.
