Can we use "Until" as well? We use until for the progression of time. Am I correct? Like "I will wait until she comes" but "I will have to complete this work by Monday".

#2 would work with 'still alive'.

I would like to know about the first sentence. It has until in it and it is used for something that will keep happening till a specified time. Am I correct? So what does "Until" suggests here? That I will keep living until it ends.

#1 works if you change 'am' to 'stay' as Piscean said.

It also works if you change 'until' to 'when'.

I will meet you if I am alive when this ordeal ends.
