on the floor. I didn’t mind. The carpet looked cozy. I just questioned why Father
wouldn’t buy a bed for us after being in United States for four years. Then I

As you can see above in red, you only missed one. It's the USA or The ​United States of America.

Because you are referring to specific articles, the articles in the text.
