Cholsoo :Yeah, She is always picking on you. If you go there, she will nag at you.

Cholsoo : I was on a roll(hit the ground running). What a state(plight) I am in!

When you are very successful, do you say "I'm on a roll" or "touch golden or Midus hands(Sorry, I forgot the expressions)?
Or do you say in terms of different situations like these?

Being popular : He/she is very popular
Making money : He/she makes a lot of money, he/she is moving up in the world
Becoming a star : He/she is making it big, he/she is a star, he/she is hot these days
General sense': He/she is the bomb, he's the man

When you are having a run of successes you can say I'm on a roll. It can apply to anything.

"What a plight I am in!" is OK to refer to the situation you described but I have no idea how either "I was on a roll" or "I hit the ground running" is relevant to the situation.
