I want to say "if a person has enough money". Can I use "deep enough pockets?

Is this correct?

In this corruption-infested country, you can buy anything and anyone if you have deep enough pockets.

I might prefer to say it more simply. Perhaps:

In this corruption-infested country you can buy anything and anyone.
