Hello, teachers.

Is the sentence in the title correct?
I want to emphasize the exact moment the flowers start to bloom, so I want to use "bloom" instead of "blooming."

Can you give us the broad context in which you want to use it?

As I strolled through the serene garden, I suddenly stopped in my tracks. The air was filled with anticipation, and then, as if by magic, I smelled the flowers bloom. It was a moment of pure wonder as the tightly closed petals unfurled, releasing their delicate, fragrant aroma into the world. It was as if nature had chosen to share its most beautiful secret with me, and I stood there, captivated by the beauty of the blossoming flowers.

The sentence you're asking about must be in the body of your post as well as in the title.
