A Vietnamese guy wants to learn English.

I have a problem for recognizing well "in the end" and "at the end". What situation I should use "inthe end" and vice versa?

For example,

The T-shirt is .... of the line? (Inthe end/At the end)

..... He found his solutions for his umemployment. (Inthe end/At the end)

What sort of line are you referring to in the T-shirt sentence?

I don't have the solution but just to make an excercise I would say:

The T-shirt is .... of the line? (At the end)

&

He found his solutions for his unemployment. (At the end) Even if in this case I would like to use : "Finally,"

A Vietnamese guy wants to learn English.

I have a problem choosing between "in the end" and "at the end." When should I use each of them?

For example,

The T-shirt is at the end of the line? (Inthe end/At the end)

In the end, he found a solution to his umemployment. (Inthe end/At the end)

Or: He finally found a solution to his unemployment.

Or: He found a job at last.

"In the end" usually places something in time.
"At the end" usually places something in space.

It should be in the end. If you can replace it with finally, use in the end.

If you use in the end/at the end at the beginning of a sentence, don't forget to use a comma after that.
