Hi,

Question:

Which sentence is correct?

Sentence1:
It was with particular interest that I heard from my friend Mr Smith of the vacancy of a graduate trainee.

Sentence2:
It was with particular interest that I heard from my friend of the vacancy of a graduate trainee.

Sentence3:
It was with particular interest that I heard from Mr Smith of the vacancy of a graduate trainee.

Thanks

They would all be correct if you changed 'vacancy of' to 'vacancy for'.
