Which do you think is more grammatical or are both fine? If one or the other is not good, could you please explain why?
  • I haven't been sleeping well recently, but last night I slept well.
  • I haven't slept well recently, but last night I slept well.
 
While the originals are fine as is, they could be shortened a bit.

  • I haven't been sleeping well recently, but I did last night.
  • I haven't slept well recently, but last night I did.
