I wonder what is the simple way to say that I worked hard recently and I'm working hard now? In other words, how to say that I'm working hard since some point in the nearest past?

If I try to say for example "I have worked hard recently", it seems only to suggest that I worked hard in the nearest past without giving implication that I still work hard currently. On the other hand, I suppose the only way to say that I did work hard and do so now is use of Present Perfect. But I have no idea how to improve my example sentence in order to add sense that action is still being done.

How about:
I have been working hard recently.
I have been working hard since (date).

The present perfect continuous is the tense of choice for that context.
