I have to put on baby hand gloves on his hand to prevent him scratching himself.
I have to help him wear the hand gloves to prevent him scratching himself.

Which is sound more correctly in the sentences above? Put on or wear?

I help him put on gloves..
He wears the gloves...

Gloves are meant for the hands only, so there is no need to say 'hand' again.

Which sentence sounds more correct?

not a teacher
