1) I have been told you guys are the ones who are going to pay for my claim.

2) I have been told you guys are the ones who is going to pay for my claim.

Which one is correct?
 
Is "ones" singular or plural?

Note that you guys is very informal. It isn't suitable for business correspondence unless you're writing to a good friend.

You want the company to pay your claim, not pay for it.
 
It is plural so, I need to use "are". Am I correct?
