Which of the following sentences is correct?

1- I found an eight-foot-long snake in my bathroom. :tick: (with the correct article)

2- I found a snake of eight feet long in my bathroom. :cross:

3- I found a long snake of eight feet in my bathroom. :cross:

See above. I'd say "I found an eight-foot snake in my bathroom". Remember that with numbers under 20, we write out the full word.

I think I'd rather find an 8-footed snake in my bathroom than an 8-foot spider!
