Hi everyone,

what is the difference between

1. I didn't try it yet
and
2. I haven't tried it yet

I always use #2 (I haven't tried it yet) but some people use #1 (I didn't try it yet) Is it correct to use #1?
how is it different from #2?

There is only a very subtle difference between the sentences. (BTW, Periods should be places after your sentences.)

The use of "didn't try" is slightly stronger in emphasis than "haven't tried".

BrE would use "I haven't tried it yet". I know "I didn't try it yet" is OK in AmE, though.
