Last night, I went to a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic and had my back pain treated. They used cupping therapy. I wonder if it's natural to say:

Last night I did some cupping.
.

You didn't do the cupping therapy; the cllinic did it for you. You were the recipient of the therapy,

I would say:
Last night, I went for cupping therapy for my back pain.
Last night, I received cupping therapy for my back pain.

Last night, I had cupping for my back [pain/ache].

(I'd like to see anyone try to do cupping on their own back! They'd have to be a contortionist!)
