Hello,
I am writing a BS thesis about idioms and I've come across the phrase: I've got to get out of here, I'm going bats. I feel panic.
I assume that it means I am going crazy or something similar, but I cannot find a definition of this phrase.
Can somebody help me to understand what it exactly means and whether it is really an idiom?
Thank you!
