Hi.

I wrote a sentence when I was donating my blood. Please see the following.

I am scared of death but if I can save lives, I'd love to give my life.

I think it's weird but the meaning is quite clear. Would you please help me to make the italic sentence sound natural? The following is a picture of my donating blood.

What has donating blood got to do with dying? You are giving your blood, not your life. It is a noble cause which can save lives.

I'd love to donate blood to save lives
 
Or, since you probably do it regularly, "I love to donate blood to save lives".
