Hi, I am not a native English and I am not sure which form is correct:

I have achieved a degree or I achieved a degree?
I still have the title, not sure whether this matters.

Thanks.

Please provide correct information in your profile.

Done, what is the answer? :)

Neither is very natural.

We tend to say things like:

I have a degree.
I am a graduate.

I gained/got my degree in 1984.
I graduated in 1984.

Ok, how about that, which was the original sentence but I did not want to show off too much :)

"I have graduated at ... University where I (have) achieved the First Class degree in the xxx subject." The subject is a hyperlink forwarding the visitor to the university website with the information about the specific course. I was not sure whether the word "subject" or "course" would be better either.

The natural for me would be "I graduated from X university, where I gained a First Class degree in Y". I would use neither 'subject' nor 'course'.

OK, thanks, I will use your version :)
