In this case, which one is correct or better?
 
If you're simply writing a sentence, you don't need a colon or an ellipsis. Why do you think you need either?

"Hunger" is a poem written by Samuel Donnington.

I forgot to write options. Which one is better or correct?

Note that there is more than one poem with that title.
