How's my writing:

There are some things in life we will never understand but that shouldn't make them bad or wrong or stigmatized against. That's why I love American society, because no matter what path you choose in life, the freedom of choice will always be on your side, and no matter what happens the truth will eventually prevail. Unabridged freedom brings out the best and worse in all of us and ultimately it keeps all of us honest. I'm glad I'm not living in a hypocritical country.

Just one comment - the freedom of choice is there for you (rather than 'on your side').

It's just an expression.

Something that is on your side means it supports you. Is that what you mean? The freedom.of choice is merely an option.
