[General] How would you describe such a situation?

Hello, everyone.

Suppose in a company the staff were either born in the 1960s or 1980s. I want to point out there is a gap in age there. How should I describe it? There is an age gap in the company?

Consider:
There is a gap in employee age within our company. x are in their 50's and x are in their 30's.
There's a gap in the ages of our employees.

There is a marked age divide in our company/employees/staff. They are all in their 30s or in their 50s.

Maybe something like:

All of the employees in my company get along very well even though there is a

generation gap/divide among them.

My problem with a "generation gap" is that it's used to imply that there is difficulty communicating/seeing each other's point of view, etc.

It could be that all these people born in the 60s and all these people born in the 80s get along great, communicate well, and collaborate seamlessly.
