How to write a sentence using an absolute phrase

How can I write absolute sentences using the words affront, cajole, and encumber?
 
Why do you want to do that?
Why would one not want to? It has now become my mission in life. here's my first attempt:

The natives cajoled and their masters affronted, I encumbered my deputy with the role of resolving the situation,
 
That should startle Ashley's teacher when he/she checks her homework.

Affronted by her refusal, no longer encumbered by the anvil I had been carrying and cajoled by her sister's sweet words, I changed partners.

Clearly affronted by the lack of answers, and despite cajoling us with thread bumps and smilies, XXXX continues to encumber us with pointless questions.
