how to use "enclosed" , "reference" and "confirm" in email

Hi teachers

I always receive emails with "reference", "enclosed" and "confirm" blablabla.

Would you please tell me whether the following sentences are correct ?

Dear XXX,
Enclosed kindly find the letter for your reference. I have send you the original one. Kindly confirm upon receipt.


Hi teacher, i think these sentences are not correct in gramma, please let me have your opinions, thank you.

Your word order is incorrect.

"Kindly find the enclosed letter for your reference. I have sent you the original one."

Did you send one by mail and this is an electronic version?
Papers are enclosed.
Files are attached.

American business correspondence doesn't use "kindly."

Hi teachers

I always receive emails with "reference", "enclosed" and "confirm" [strike]blablabla[/strike]. Use "etc" instead. If you ever want to use your phrase, it's "blah blah blah".

Would you please tell me whether the following sentences are correct? (No space before a question mark.)

Dear XXX,
Enclosed kindly find the letter for your reference. I have send you the original one. Kindly confirm upon receipt.
Please find enclosed the letter for your reference. I have sent you the original. Please confirm receipt.

I am shocked to know you do not use "kindly" in correspondence because many people in H.K. think "kindly" is more polite than "please" and should use it in businese communication......

It's not used much in BrE either. I associate it with Indian English mostly. In the UK, if you use it, it wouldn't be considered more polite than "please" - it would probably simply mark you out as a non-native speaker.

You should follow local convention. If you are writing to Hong Kong business folks, use "kindly."

It's not used much in BrE either.

It does sound a bit old-fashioned in BrE, but I do come across it. It can also be used in spoken language to suggest exasperation.
