[Vocabulary] How to say if you heard something by mistake?

I heard something that was not said. How do I say it English? Miss-heard? False-heard?

For example, I see my two friends chatting between them and suddenly it seems to me that they mentioned my name. I aproach them and tell: 'Guys are you talking about me?' And they say: 'No, you ????? miss-heard? false-heard? You had false-hearing?'
