How to improve English accent

I am a English language teacher, but I am little confuse about my accent. I want to improve it. I Know mother tongue plays an important role but how can I perfect it.

You need to listen to your own voice and compare it a native. The choice of accent you wish to mimic is yours. Find some software that allows you to hear your voice and a native's and with practice you will be able to imitate a native. It will take months of constant practice however to achieve an "accent-less" speech.
