Each of the exchanges below contains a mistake.
In each case:
a) underline the mistake
b) write the corrected version in the space provided
c) write in simple terms how you would make the correction clear to your students
i) “I’d like some informations about your courses.”
“Certainly, here’s our brochure.”
(ii) “Have you got any money?”
“Yes, I’ve been to the bank yesterday”
(iii) “Do you like my new dress?”

b) Now think of your own experience as a learner of languages at school or elsewhere. What conclusions would you draw from your experience as regards what makes a good language lesson? Write approx. 100 words in the space below:
