Hello,

I am not sure how to the write the following sentence:

Sky is us

or

Sky are us

Can anyone help me with that?

Many Thanks

Do you mean the sky above our heads or Sky TV?

Hello,

I mean the sky above our heads.

I am looking for a kind of slogan, so I am not sure whether it suppose to be:

sky is us
or
sky are us

Thanks.

In that case, it should probably be The sky is us, but it doesn't mean much to me.

Well, The meaning is that "we control the sky"... since we need it for an Internet domain, we do not want a very long domain such as:

"wecontrolthesky.com" or "skycontrolleredbyus.com" both examples are too long.

So, we thought on going with "skyisus.com"

Is it more meaningful now or maybe do you have other suggestions?

Thanks.

How about 'skyisours.com'?

Learning that someone wants (or claims) to own the sky would put me off whatever they're trying to sell/promote. :-(

That's what I was referring to.

Yes, the meaning was that the "WE" don't control the sky as a company, but "WE" as the company's customers ;-)
Is it making more sense now?

Not really. I still think it's highly arrogant for anyone (corporate or otherwise) to want/claim to own the sky.
Having said that, I could be wrong; controversial logos/titles/website names often succeed in attracting the attention they seek.

Would you consider 'The earth is ours' arrogant?

It works better in the context of a web address for me.
