Guy 1: I haven't talked to her in a while. She's at the hospital, in a coma.

Guy 2: Oh. How long has she been like that? / How long has that been going on? / For how long has she been that?

Guy 1: For about a week now.
I know the most natural thing to ask probably might be "How long has she been in a coma?" But if I want to avoid repeating 'coma', what would be the most natural way to phrase the question? Thank you.
