How can i rephrase this into simplified English?

That depends on what you mean by "simplified English". Unlike Chinese there is no difference between spoken and written English. However, things can be phrased in many different education levels. Your sentence is scored (by Flesch-Kincade) at a grade 16 level (I believe that is a college graduate) which is 8 levels above the average for a US citizen's.

This furniture style needs an open floor plan, a free flow of space; it should not be trapped in standard rooms.

This new sentence is scored a level 9, first year of high school. I dropped the phrase "structural clarity", because even I was unsure of what you meant by it, in the context of this sentence.
