What is the difference because I don't see any. :-(

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

(1) Watching television today reminded me of your question.

(2) This is a language, not a political, website. So I must be

super discreet:

Today a certain leader of a certain country resigned because

his people peacefully insisted that he do so.

Thus today is truly a HISTORIC day. Not only for that certain

country but for the world. Your children will ask you someday:

Where were you when you heard the news on that historic day?

I think that life has given you an unforgettable lesson in the difference

between historical and historic.
