Hi.

Are my two sentences idiomatic? Will native speakers use them?

1) His opposition to child labour was unmistakable.
2) Their feature film debuts with stylish efficiency until they succumb to the effects elephantiasis that overtakes virtually every Hollywood action film by the finale.

I think 1) is okay. As for 2, I don't remember the source, but the wording is okay and I think it was written by a native speaker.

Good. Natural.

tis that overtakes virtually every Hollywood action film by the finale.

Obviously, no one else will use it. But it's a good example of English-language writing.

There!
