Hi, is the phrase "Her intention was bad." a correct phrase in English? I'm specifically asking about "intention" and not "intentions" as I need this phrase to rhyme with "invitation". Thank you for help.

It's a grammatical sentence.

'Intention' doesn't rhyme with 'invitation'.

Some words that rhyme with "invitation":

presentation
adulation
speculation
demonstration

Some words that rhyme with "intention":

invention
contention
convention
mention

Also, if the sentence you plan to use is "Her intention was bad", "bad" is the last word so the last word of the next line needs to rhyme with "bad". I assume you are writing a short poem or similar.

Her intention was bad.
It made me quite mad.
But I feel I should mention
That was not her intention.
