Hello everyone!

My name is Francesca and I would like to ask you to please have a quick look to the response I wrote for an internship interview I just got. I am so excited about it that I am so scared to blow it by making some stupid mistakes as I am a non-native speaker. Please let me know if something does not sound correct.

Thank you in advance for your kind help!

Dear ....,

Thank you for considering my application and for inviting me to interview. I am looking forward at the prospect of meeting you and discussing my strong interest in joining the ... team. Tuesday 2 February is perfectly fine with me. However, as I will be on a trip until 13 pm on that day, I would be grateful if we could schedule the interview in the late afternoon.

Once again, thank you for this opportunity and I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Hello Francesca, welcome to the forums. Your letter is quite good, I would advise you to change just "looking forward at" to "looking forward to" and "13 pm" to "13:00" or "1 o'clock".

Perhaps:

I would be grateful if we could schedule the interview for the late afternoon.
