1. He has been dead for 3 years.

2. He has died.

3. He has died for 3 years.

4. She has lost her wallet.

5. She has lost her wallet since yesterday.


I know 1,2 and 4 are correct, and I wonder if 3 and 5 make sense.

No, they don't.
 
You could make up a context for 5, but what are you trying to say with it? As a sentence without a context, it doesn't work.
