1. He admitted killing the frog.

2. He admitted having killed the frog.


Is there any difference between 1 and 2?


If there isn't any why people say like 2?
 
There's no difference.

I'd say #1 is more natural.

#1 may be more natural, but #2 is perfectly correct. As for why people say it like that: why not? There are several different and equally correct ways to express it.
