Are sentences (1) and (2) both grammatically correct? If yes, what are the differences?

1. Neither of them is a complete sentence. Please tell us what comes after "are", all the way up to the full stop at the end of the sentence.
2. When you do need to use an ellipsis, remember to put a space before the three dots.
3. What prompted you to ask us this question? Where did you find those fragments?
