Which are correct?

1) He is not supposed to meddle in the handling of legal cases.
2) He is not supposed to meddle in handling legal cases.

3) He is not supposed to meddle in our handling of legal cases.
4) He is not supposed to meddle in our handling legal cases.

If you're not a lawyer it's probably best that you don't involve yourself with legal cases.

I think 1 is grammatically correct but not clear.

It may be less explicit, but it's be no less clear.
