"Hair" is uncountable in your case.

Yes, your sentence is correct.

We only use "hairs" (countable) when we are talking about specific individual (or several) hairs.

I found three blonde hairs on the sofa, and I don't know whose they are.
I pulled four grey hairs out today, but I know they'll be back next week!
