"Gratitude has been shown to predict pro-social behavior, a greater sense of coherence meaning the perception of one's life has comprehensible, manageable and meaningful, greater perceive communal strengths, lower materialism, lower depression. And strengthened social bonds and friendship."

Have I punctuated the above context correctly, please?

I think it would give a clearer idea of what was in the main list if you parenthesized the words '...(meaning the perception of one's life as comprehensible, manageable and meaningful)...'. Otherwise there's just a string of commas and the reader is left to work out what's subordinate to what. It'd be even clearer if you used vertical lists:

Gratitude has been shown to predict many things:

  • a greater sense of coherence (meaning ...etc)
  • greater perceived communal strengths
  • lower materialism
  • lower depression
  • strengthened social bonds and friendship

(There are many different ways of punctuating a list, so let's not get into that. ;-))
