Hi dear teachers,

I am pretty confused about the this case; using "to" before "home". We say "He goes home" not "He goes to home" because that is a grammar rule. But is it same everywhere? I mean we don't use "to" before "home" at all or it changes? I have seen "He returned to home." . Here I want to be certain about using "to" after "home".

Thanks.

It is unusual to use "to" before "home".

"I returned to home." Is this incorrect then?

I am sorry. Now I got the point. "He returned to his home" is correct and "He returned to home" is incorrect, now am I correct?:) I think I got it figured out.

Yes, that's right.
