Hi, everyone. Is Sentence 1 already correct? Do I have to add 'help'?

1. They just hope their college degrees can get them high-paying jobs.

2. They just hope their college degrees can help them get high-paying jobs.

I'd use "help". A degree alone doesn't get anyone a job.
