I too have the same feelings mate and it is always am so funny and understanding with friends,but at times get irritated at family members.

No. That wasn't written by a native English speaker and it really shows. I assume they were trying to say:

I have the same feelings too, mate. The thing is I'm always really funny and understanding around my friends but I sometimes get irritated by my family members.

(I'm not sure what the writer thinks the connection is between being funny and the rest. Being understanding around one's friends but irritated by one's family is a good contrast but funny doesn't fit anywhere.)
